Unique Design Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones
The Monster Cable brand name is very well known among audio / video aficionados. They manufacture many different products for the audio video market concentrating on the high end and ultra high end consumers. Their products span from cabling to high end power conditioners to headphones. Now, Monster has enlisted the assistance of the legendary musical artist Dr. Dre who is considered by many to be a force of nature in the Hip-Hop and Rap musical genres and is involved in everything from management and production of various high profile artists to producing his own musical contributions.
With Dr. Dre prepared to lend his expertise, Monster also enlisted the assistance and experience of Jimmy Iovine who is currently the Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records. With Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine onboard, Monster set out to design a new set of studio headphones. Naturally, these industry luminaries didn't want just any new headphones, they wanted a product that would allow the user to experience the full sonic spectrum any audio source had to offer. After three years of research and development, what this dream team proudly unveiled is the Beats by Dr. Dre. Today, we will be running these headphones through some various audio tasks common to PC users to see if they live up to all the hype and fanfare that has surrounded this product.
Beats is a high-quality headphone which is released by Monster. The most obvious feature is that this headphone is developed by Dr.Dre who won the Grammy Awards and Monster audio expert group. With advanced loudspeaker design and powered isolation technology, Beats can utilize the power and energy in a better way and make further improvement on low frequency power. Power:
Battery compartment is located in the left ear cup.
Press down and turn ear cup cover counterclockwise. Replace battery cover
and twist clickwise to lock.
Connect
Beats is compatible with iphone, blackberry and other music-enabled phones. Insert the Monster iSoniTalk
cable connector with two rings into the Beats headset and the connector with three rings into your music-enabled phone.
To answer calls, press the microphone button on the cable and talk. To hang up, press the microphone button.
Listen
To listen, move the power switch to the far left. Red LED will illuminate. Red LED turns amber when battery power is low.
Mute
To pause your beats, simply press and hold the Beats mute button on the center of the right ear cup.
To resume listening, release the mute button.
Fold
Remove your Beats cable. Note the two folding hinges on the Beats headband. Fold one side, then the other.
Apply pressure to the hinge, not the earcup when folding.
Sound check
For the best ipod or iphone listening experience with Beats, activate iTunes Sound Check. Sound Check standardizes the volume of all the songs in your music library.
